BLACK WALNUT TREE juglans nigra NATIVE Native tree in North America that produces yummy nuts! Moderate growth rate. 75′ to 100′ mature height. 

• Sun: Full sun to part shade
• Soil: wet to dry loam or sandy high acidic to slightly alkaline
• Size: 50-75 ft tall; 50-70 ft spread
• Both male and female flowers are on each tree (monoecious)
• Nut production can sometimes begin as early as 6 years but usually takes 20 years for a substantial crop

We only ship to the continental USA no shipping to California, Arizona, Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. Our plants ship bare root or with minimal soil in a bag.  5 gallon pots or larger they must be picked up at the nursery ( or call for special shipping arrangements to see if we can ship to you ).
